Camilla Sawick and Michelle Gabriel of Island Chefs outdid themselves at the Roaring 20s themed event on Thursday, November 11th at the home of Camilla. All the ladies came decked out in their best 20s outfits and were quickly and secretly ushered into a dimly lit, windows blacked out, throwback Speakeasy-esque setting along with traditional food and drinks from the era. During one point in the evening, our hideout was raided by two "law enforcement" gentlemen, but they were easily convinced to turn a blind eye after they were offered to share in the festivities. Phew! The SpeakEasy Marco Island was also graced by our roarin' group as we descended upon the unsuspecting establishment and patrons at the end of the evening to enjoy some dancing in our festive attire.
